About me

Meet Denyse Gridley!

Hi, I am a Canadian author/illustrator who loves creating imaginative and engaging picture books that make kids laugh.

​

I am a retired elementary school teacher with a B.A. and B.Ed. from Queen's University. In my teaching career I had the pleasure of seeing children’s genuine reactions to thousands of picture books. That is the inspiration I use in crafting stories and illustrations that children will love and want to read again and again!

I am a proud member of The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).

I am based in the Ottawa Valley area of Eastern Ontario, Canada.

 

I have several completed manuscripts ready and I am currently seeking literary agent representation.
